Washington (SPP) – As the Trump administration continues to release documents recovered in the Bin Laden raid, we are learning more and more about the deceased terror leader’s thinking.

Most astonishing was the fact that it Bin Laden appears to have been most terrified of a Fox News guest and former Annapolis resident, Wayne Shelby Simmons. Simmons is currently in prison for fraud after prosecutors charged that he faked his entire 27 year CIA career.

Letters and his personal journal show that Bin Laden wrote daily about Simmons to the point where he almost seemed obsessed with him. For example, Bin Laden, in 2010, wrote to a friend that he had reoccurring nightmares where Simmons would appear and brutally murder him. Simmons was mentioned almost daily in Bin Laden’s writings. He frequently asked his lieutenants to find out as much information as they could about him and to take him out, if possible.

Among the materials recovered in the raid was a copy a tape of all of the appearances Simmons made on Fox News up until 2011. After Simmons called Obama “the Boy King” on Fox News in 2009, Bin Laden wrote to a friend that Simmons was correct in his assessment of Obama, that he was very weak and cowardly. However, while Bin Laden also noted that he found Simmons’s comment “funny” but didn’t prefer the choice of words because “it was sort of racist.”

Simmons, who is currently in Federal Prison serving a 3 year sentence for fraud, was unavailable for a comment.
